A Greener Vision Revisited: - (Fall 2003)
This project updates a map/poster that launched the Green Space Coalition in 1995. In January, 2003, the GSC hosted a brainstorming and mapping session facilitated by the Canaan Valley Institute. CVI provided maps and are continuing to work with GSC on this project. The new poster, to be released in the Fall of 2003, will graphically emphasize greenways and how they interconnect the region.

Whitemoore Park - 1998-2000
| Between 1998 and 2000, GSC volunteers and BOPARC employees built 4,000 feet of trails, two zig-zag ramps, and three bridges in this steep, wooded hillsde park in the center of Morgantown. The longest bridge is over 100 feet long! The trails connect two neighborhoods to the Deckers Creek Rail-Trail. |
